Tournament Terms & Conditions

Your registration and participation in this tournament are conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms.

1. Registration and Eligibility:

  • All players must complete the official registration form and pay any applicable tournament fees by the specified deadline.
  • Players must meet all age or skill level requirements as outlined in the tournament listing page on ReClub.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to verify player eligibility and skill ratings.
  • All information provided by the participants during registration must be complete and accurate.
  • The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to verify that participants meet the skill rating eligibility criteria, including reviewing available DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) data.
  • However, the Organizer does not guarantee the accuracy, recency, or validity of any submitted or publicly available rating information.
  • Players are solely responsible for ensuring they meet the stated skill rating requirements at the time of registration.
    The Organizer reserves the right to refuse, reclassify, or revoke a player’s registration based on available data or observed performance.
  • The Organizer shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions, or disputes arising from the rating verification process or from any participant’s misrepresentation of their skill level.

2. Tournament Format and Rules:

  • The tournament will follow the rules and format specified on the registration page, the ReClub page and the Tournament rules.
  • The Organizer has over rules enforcement, match scheduling, and resolution of any disputes. All decisions made by the Organizer are final and binding.
  • Players are expected to be familiar with standard pickleball rules, including scoring, line calls, and non-volley zone regulations.


3. Code of Conduct:

  • All participants, including players, officials, and spectators, are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to, abusive language, taunting, and any form of harassment towards players, officials, or tournament staff, will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification or removal from the venue.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or remove any individual from the premises for breaching this code of conduct without a refund of fees.


4. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability:

  • You understand that participating in a pickleball tournament involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, falls, collisions, equipment-related injuries, and other physical hazards.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation in this tournament, including the risk of serious injury or death.
  • In consideration of being permitted to participate in this tournament, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Organizer, sponsors, volunteers, venue owners, and their respective agents, employees, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you, or to any property belonging to you, whether caused by the negligence of the Organizers or otherwise.


5. Indemnification:

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including legal fees, arising from or in relation to your participation in this tournament or any breach of these terms.


6. Physical Condition:

  • You affirm that you are in good physical condition and have no medical conditions that would prevent you from safely participating in this tournament.
  • You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding your participation in this event.


7. Media Release:

  • You grant to the Organizers and their authorized representatives full and unrestricted rights to use photos, videos or recordings of you taken during the tournament for promotional or archival purposes, in any format and media now known or developed in the future.
  • You waive any right to compensation or approval in connection with such uses.

8. Modification of Terms

  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • Any updates will be communicated via ReClub Captain’s Chat or through the contact email you provided.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, inclement weather, low registration numbers, or facility issues.
  • If the tournament is canceled, participants will be notified promptly, and any refund policy will be communicated at that time.
  • No refunds will be issued for voluntary withdrawals unless otherwise stated.


10. Severability:

  • If any portion of these Terms and Conditions is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Personal Property

  • Participants are solely responsible for the security and safety of their own personal property during the tournament.
  • The Organizer will not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including but not limited to equipment, phones, wallets, bags, or vehicles, whether occurring at the venue or in surrounding areas.

12. Weather and Force Majeure

  • The Organizer shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or alteration of the tournament due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters, acts of government, or other force majeure events.
  • In such cases, the Organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule, reschedule the event, or cancel the tournament without liability. Any applicable refund or credit policy will be communicated accordingly.

13. Photography and Video Etiquette

  • While the Organizer may record the event for promotional purposes (as covered in the Media Release), participants and spectators are also welcome to take personal photos and videos, provided it does not interfere with play or others’ enjoyment of the event.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to request the removal of disruptive photographers/videographers or those violating others’ privacy.

14. Emergency Medical Assistance

  • In the event of an injury or medical emergency, the Organizer may (but is not obligated to) assist in arranging for basic first aid or emergency services.
  • Participants agree to bear full financial responsibility for any medical treatment received during or in connection with the tournament.
  • You further authorize the Organizer and on-site personnel to contact emergency services or administer basic first aid if necessary.
