DUPR Rating Requirement:
– All participants must have a DUPR rating between ( 2.00 – 3.00 )
– All match results will be recorded and submitted to DUPR.
– Players must register on the RECLUB platform and ensure their DUPR rating is synced.Age Eligibility:
– The tournament is open to 19 and above.DUPR Rating Lock:
– A player’s DUPR rating at the time of registration will determine eligibility. Any changes to the rating after registration is confirmed will not affect eligibility.Registration Fee Policy:
– Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.Early bird fees: Applies to those who registered and PAID before the early bird deadline.
Tournament Format & Rules:
MD/WD/XD teams are accepted, no divisions.
Account Integrity:
– Using fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered , you will be disqualified.Punctuality:
– Players must report to their assigned courts on time.
– Failure to appear when a match is being called will result in a forfeit due to “no-show” , absent will automatically forfeit.Group Format:
– 4 teams per group, with a total of 4 groups.
Round Robin Format
– Matches will be played to 13 points using rally scoring. No deuce; sudden death applies.
Group Stage Matches:
– Each team will play 6 matches within their group, playing 2 matches with each team in the group.
Advancement:
– The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Quarterfinals.Below are single-elimination games:
-Quarterfinals: 8 teams → 4 winners advance
-Semifinals: 4 teams → 2 winners advance
-Finals: 2 teams → 1 winnerPlayoffs:
– Quarterfinals & Semifinals: First to 15 points, sudden death, no deuce.
– Final Match: Standard best-of-3 to 11 points format (0-0-2).Match Officiating:
– No umpires will be present for Round Robin, Quarterfinals, or Semifinals. Players are responsible for calling out scores, making their own line calls and resolving disputes.Finals Officiating:
– An umpire will be present to announce the score and monitor kitchen violations. Line calls remain the players’ responsibility, but the umpire may assist if the situation is clearly visible.Finals Rest Time between sets: 10 minutes
Self-Officiated Line Call Rules (All Matches):
– Players are responsible for making line calls on their side of the court with absolute integrity. The opponent gets the benefit of the doubt on any close calls. If you did not clearly see a ball out, it must be considered in.
– If a call is made and the opposing team disputes it, play must stop. If there is no immediate agreement between the two teams, the point shall be replayed without further discussion.
– Each team is allowed two (2) line call disputes per match. If the same team exceeds this limit, additional disputes are automatically resolved in favor of the opponent.Challenge Allocation for Finals Match:
– Each team is allocated one (1) Captain’s Challenge for the entire best-of-three-game championship match.
– A challenge may only be used to formally contest a ruling made by the designated match official. It cannot be used to dispute a call made by an opposing player.
– If a challenge is successful and the official’s call is overturned, the correct ruling will be applied or the point will be replayed as determined by the official. The challenging team’s single challenge is considered used and is no longer available for the remainder of the match.
– If a challenge is unsuccessful and the official’s call is upheld, the consequence is immediate and final: the challenging team shall forfeit the entire championship match, regardless of the current game or score. This rule applies at any stage of the finals (Game 1, 2, or 3). The opposing team shall be awarded First Place by default and the challenger shall be awarded 1st Runner Up. This decision is not subject to further appeal.Injury Time:
-Each player is entitled to ONE medical emergency timeout of up to 10 minutes. The staff need to be informed of the medical emergency.
-If a player cannot resume play after the 10-minute medical emergency timeout, the match will be forfeited. It is advisable that the player stop playing at this point, and no additional medical timeouts will be granted for any other matches.
-If the player uses less than 10 minutes, the remaining time is forfeited; no additional medical timeouts will be granted for this or any other matches.Match Schedule:
– Group Stage: from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
– Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals: 4:30 PM to 7:00 PMFacilities:
Shower facilities will be available for participants.Payment Instructions:
-Do not pay until the host has verify your DUPR account. Post your Team’s DUPR account details in the Captain’s chat. Verification will not be immediate. Do not spam the chat as it will be a nuisance to all the Captains and staff.
– Accounts with no profile photo will not be accepted.
– Registration fees should be paid to Leong Bik Yoke (010-2583318) via Touch ‘n Go.

– Participants who have not yet paid must do so to secure their slot. Once payment is received and confirmed, the player will be marked as “Confirmed.”Check-In Time:
– All players must arrive by 2:30 PM for registration. If a team member is more than 5 minutes late, the team will be disqualified.Paddle Requirement:
To ensure inclusivity while maintaining fair play, our tournament does not require paddles to be USA Pickleball (USAPA) approved. However, all paddles used must meet the following criteria:1. Commercially Available: Paddles must be factory-made and sold through retail outlets (online or in-store). No homemade paddles or DIY-style modifications are allowed.
2. Unaltered Surface: The hitting surface must be unmodified from the original paddle design. No sanding, texture changes, or surface coatings are permitted.
3. Permitted Modifications:
-Edge Guard Replacement: Only if it does not alter paddle performance.
-Weight Adjustment: Lead tape or similar weight tape is allowed, but only applied to the edge or perimeter of the paddle.
4. No Non-Paddle Objects: Items not intended as paddles (e.g., cutting boards, cheeseboards, wood panels) are strictly prohibited.Tournament officials reserve the right to inspect paddles and disallow any that appear to violate these conditions.
Registration Priority is given to regulars. We reserve the right to not admit any teams for any reason whatsoever. We are entitled to make changes to the game format and other terms and conditions as we deemed fit.
